Die folgende Liste führt alle (in der zukünftigen Endversion),
in letzter Zeit in verschiedener Literatur angeführten (Unter)Arten von
Amphibien und Reptilien auf, egal, ob sie allgemein anerkannt werden oder nicht.
Das durch diese Liste abgedeckte Gebiet:
gesamtes geographisches Europa und die Mittelmeerländer (das sind: Marokko,
Algerien, Tunesien, Libyen, Ägypten, Israel, Jordanien, Libanon, Syrien,
Türkei, außerdem Georgien, Armenien, nordwestl. Iran, nord- und westlicher
Irak und die nördliche Arabische Halbinsel).
Es werden auch die wichtigsten Synonyme und die entsprechende Literatur angeführt.
Ausserdem werden Tiere aus verschiedenen Gebieten und Lebensräume im Bild
vorgestellt.

or not.
The area, covered by this list: complete geographical Europe and the Mediterranean
countries (Morrocco, Algeria, Tunesia, Libya, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Libanon,
Syria, Turkey and also Georgia, Armenia, northwestern Iran, northern and western
Iraq and the northern Arabian peninsula).
Aditional the most important synonyms and references are given.
Also you may have a look on pictures of animals from different areas and habitats.
